Hi all,
I am aware that the Iphone 5 is coming out soon. I will not want to pay for that. I have a full upgrade credit right now and have been using my very slow BlackBerry tour for 2 years. I think it is time to upgrade because the BlackBerry is just too limited and slow.
Which one should I upgrade to?
Epic Touch is $50 thru Best Buy and Galaxy III is $200. I am aware of LTE coming to Boston (where I live) and how Epic Touch does not support it.
I am on a SERO Premium plan.
Thanks for any advice and suggestions.

I'd probably go with the Samsung Galaxy S III. Before you upgrade, you can try calling Sprint and talk to their retention department to see if they have a better price or if they have any other offers available. Maybe they have a bill credit or something to help with the cost of the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Thanks everybody. In the end, I went with the S3. It will be coming in the next couple of days!!! So excited to go from BlackBerry to Android!
What is the first thing I should do after getting it activated??? I really want to make it as powerful and sweet as I can.

I think you've made a good decision. Looking forward to read about your new experiences with the S3.
The first thing I did when I got an Android phone was not sleeping for three days, exploring it in details. Then I started watching videos and reading articles. There is an endless list of texts you can find, it just depends on your interests.

Good choice! I wouldn't bother rooting the phone or making any modifications to start. It should be a great phone right out of the box. You can download different Android applications and make the phone your own by changing the wallpaper and look of the phone. You can also purchase a case to put on. Then, after a couple months, take the case off, and it will feel like you have a new phone all over again.

Re: Epic Touch (Galaxy II) or Galaxy III?
My new Galaxy S3 is amazing. This is my first android phone and I am overwhelmed by the features. I download smartkeyboard. It's a lot easier to use than the Samsung keyboard. Thanks for the tip.
I have no idea where to start in terms of learning to how to tweak - I know there are a lot of resources on here and abroad.

Re: Epic Touch (Galaxy II) or Galaxy III?
It shouldn't need any modifications out of the box. From what I've read, including a review on here, it seems to be a decent phone without any modifications. Since it is your first Android phone I'd recommend waiting a little bit. When it gets that "outdated" feeling then it might be worth making some changes.
If you do choose to make some changes, I'm sure many will be willing to help you out.
