Changing the Shortcuts on the Lock Screen

1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> tap Security (the option is located under Personal) -> then tap Lock screen options -> select Shortcuts -> choose the shortcut you want to change and then select a new application that you want to show on the lock screen shortcut.

Setting the Screen Security

1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> Security -> select Screen lock.

Adjusting the Screen Timeout

1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> go to the Device section and tap Display -> select Screen timeout -> choose the desired screen timeout settings from the menu. You can choose from 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2, minutes, etc.

Adjusting Keypad timeout

You can adjust the length of delay from the last key pressed and the automatic keypad timeout. The backlight will go off when the keypad times out.
1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> tap Display settings -> select Keypad timeout.
3. Make the desired settings.

Change the Language

1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> go to the Personal section and tap Language and input -> select Language -> choose the desired language from the menu.

Changing the Front Key Lights

1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> go to the Device section and tap Display -> then tap Touch key light duration -> select the desired light key duration from the list (1.5 seconds, 6 seconds, Always off or Always on). Keep in mind that your battery life may be impacted if you increase the front key duration.

Displaying Your Phone Number

1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> tap About Phone -> tap Status.
3. Your phone number is displayed under Phone number.

Setting the Font Style

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> tap Display settings -> tap Font Style and choose the desired font style.
3. Tap Get fonts online if you want to browse and download new fonts.

Setting the Screen Brightness

1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> tap Display settings -> select Brightness.
3. Drag the brightness slider to the most comfortable brightness level or select Automatic brightness.
4. When finished, tap OK to save the setting.

Enabling Power Saving Mode

If you enable the Power saving mode, your smartohone will analyze the screen and will then adjust the brightness accordingly in order to conserve the battery power.

1. Go to the Home screen and then tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings -> tap Display settings -> turn the Power saving mode switch ON or OFF, as desired.
