I put my new Cingular sim in my unlocked t-mobile samsung e315 but everytime i turn on my phone it says "sim lock enter password." i read up on it and typed 00000000 like what i had read said and my phone worked fine. but.... now every time i turn my phone on i have to type in 00000000 to get it to work.... is there a way to bypass this?
also, is this one of these codes that if you type in wrogn so many times in a row your phone becomes locked from use?

Should be a menu option under the Security menu, to turn the SIM (PIN lock) and or Phone lock off so it does not ask for it every time.
Turn the PIN check OFF once you get back into the phone, that way you do not have to bother with entering a code every time you turn the phone off or you take the battery out.Last edited by BlkBear; 03-01-2006 at 11:03 PM.
