R451C Broken Slider

I have a Samsung R451C and the slider is coming loose. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have done a Google search and I can't find anything. I know I am not the only one to have this issue. I don't mind messing with the phone, I'd just like some idea of what to do before I start tearing in apart and finding out I made it worse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi jedi1971.
You could have a couple of different problems here. There is a wire tape connecting the two main pieces of your phone. This tape, if cut can not be fixed. If it is disconnected, you may be able to reatach it. Be careful not to use magnetic screw drivers around the chip sets. You will need a very small philips screwdriver to remove several screws. This is not an easy process so be patient and careful not to break anything. I am still trying to find a replacement tape to replace the cut tape on my phone.
