my nexus s doesn't connect to data network sometimes

hi! it happens mainly when it switches from wifi to 3g or vice versa: connection bars in the upper icons near the clock are gray instead of blue but i see 3g symbol (or the circular stripes of wifi signal detection respectively).. i have to reboot to connect to data network..

Are you running the latest build of android available for the phone? What happens if you turn off wi-fi?

hi! I set auto-update of th OS and the Os itself says it's up2date. I tried to turn off wifi and also to switch to airplane mode, but it didnt work,

airplane mode does not have network connection. You may try to restart the phone.

I meant I tried to switch to airplane mode and then back to normal, but indeed I have to reboot everytime that happens

so switch from airplane mode back to non airplane mode help to solve the problem?

If you have access to the wifi router where you're having trouble connecting, consult its manual and double-check that you have its security settings set up correctly. I also suggest that you follow the manufacturer's instructions for updating the wifi router's firmware (the software that the wifi station uses to run itself) to the most up-to-date version.
