Is this an unbranded phone, or is it branded to Cingular?

And dude, why the heck did you spend over $400 for that phone? You got ripped off. If I spent that much money, I would have just gotten a K790a.

Ok, first I agree with Peryus - $445 is WAY to much to pay for that phone. Secondly, if you got it today, why not send/take it back? With the amount you payed, they better be giving you a moneyback guarantee. If you can do that though, I'd ask for a cash refund instead - you can find them MUCH cheaper than that.

I agree. Especially if you purchased the phone that is branded to your service provider, fall back on the warranty and just simply get a replacement hassle free.

Anyway, on a side note. I was really surprised when the W810i was launched for Cingular, and some people were excited. So excited, they were willing to pay $400-$500 w/o contract. Before that, I was talking to a rep, and he said that the price would be within that range. Most people don't realize that this phone is over a year old, and you can probably buy one w/o contract for about $250.
