Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: If you wish to transfer your contacts using a third party application, then "Send Anywhere" might be what you're looking for. This is an application that can transfer various types of files including contacts over a P2P connection. To use this method

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and install "Send Anywhere" on both of your smartphones
  2. Open the application on both handsets
  3. From the Galaxy SII, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
  4. Mark the contacts you want to transfer and tap "Send"
  5. Choose a transfer method. Tapping "Generate QR Code" on the Samsung Galaxy SII will create a QR code which can be scanned with the Xperia E3 to commence the contact transfer. You can also tap "Receive" on the Xperia E3 and enter the transfer code randomly generated on the Galaxy SII
