Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between the Xperia Z5
- Ensure that the phone is connected as a media device
- Launch an Explorer window on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the desired files and navigate to the phone storage
- Paste the files on the phones storage, preferably in the Media > Music / Notifications / Ringtones folders
- After the transfer is done, click the mass storage device in the system tray and eject the Xperia Z5 storage, then safely disconnect the device from the PC
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound
- Under Ringtone & Vibration, tap phone ringtone
- Tap the Music icon
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Done
Change a Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phones internal storage.
- Open Phone
- Go to the Contacts tab
- Select the contact you want to set a custom ringtone to
- Tap Edit and then tap the Ringtone drop-down menu
- Select a ringtone and tap Done
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the Settings menu
- Tap Sound under Device
- Under System, tap Default notification sound
- Select the desired notification sound (NOTE: Items recently added in the Notification folder on the phone will appear at the bottom of the list)
- Tap Done to confirm
