I see a lot of complaints and problems being posted here dealing with Sprint and/or Nextel. Since I have dealt with them before; I know how to get help when nothing else has worked. So I wanted to post something here to help others out. The main complaint site that companies seem to listen to is PlanetFeedback: Voice of One, Power of Many. When you file a complaint through them it goes to boardinquiries AT sprint.com. This is Sprint Executive Relations department. These are the people that hold the power to help you if customer care has not. Don't contact them if you haven't tried using other means. And also don't file complaints over stupid issues, because no company is willing to work with someone posting pointless and rude complaints. So be polite and explain the issue. Also in the complaint explain what you have done to correct the issue and what, if anything, did those methods do.

Here is a list of Sprint related phone numbers. They seem to change often; so it makes more sense to post a link here then to post the page itself.
    Sprint Phone Numbers - SprintUsers.com

Here are some other complaint sites. These just help others see what you have been going through. I have never had Sprint, or any company for that matter, reply back to any complaint or question posted on those sites.

My3cents.com - Let your voice be heard! Consumer Reviews, Complaints and more...
Ripoff Report: By Consumers, For Consumers
    Customer Service - Consumer Complaints
ConsumerAffairs.com: Knowledge is Power! Consumer news, reviews, complaints, resources, safety recalls

If these don't help, then get the more powerful groups to help. The BBB ((ONLY)) deals with money related issues. If Sprint ripped you off in some financial way, then they can help. If your dropping calls and want help with that; the BBB is NOT the way to go. The FTC and FCC are government agencies that will keep your complaint on file and take action if need be. Don't expect much if anything from them. But the complaints do stay on file and companies do reply back to complaints filed with them. The FCC ((ONLY)) deals with communication related issues. Whereas the FTC deals with all consumer goods.

Re: Find Out Who To Contact Over Sprint Nextel Related Problems

I had to use Sprint Customer Service many times over the last few weeks because I lost my phone.. The best and quickest way to get through is to say "CANCEL SERVICE" when the phone prompt asks you why you are calling.

The customer service rep following the "Cancel Service" request helped me with tons of problems and questions. They are not really only working the cancellation department. I tried other routes, but always got disconnected or put on hold.

Re: Find Out Who To Contact Over Sprint Nextel Related Problems

Thank you for the information about how to contact Sprint. I have been trying to get resolution since August of 2007. I keep getting told it is fixed, but it is not. When you have been turned in to a collection agency for a phone that was returned over a year ago, to me that is BAD management. I hope I will get resolution now.

    Thank You

Call their retentions center and be nice. They're usually helpful.

Re: Find Out Who To Contact Over Sprint Nextel Related Problems

Is Sprint-Nextel a corrupt organization? Judge for yourself!

There is a sameness here that should be obvious to anyone who reads this pile of complaints. Sprint-Nextel seems to care about just one thing: you paying them money. There is no customer service, not at the customer service level OR the Executive Relations Dept. People at Sprint-Nextel routinely promise anything and do nothing or blame the customer for some failure. This seems to be a dishonest organization; dare I say it, a corrupt organization that has zero regard for anything but their compensation.

Last winter they changed something that stopped my MiFi 2200 internet connections. I went from high speed to no speed. I called, I complained to customer disservice, and I even wrote to senior executives, including president Dan Hesse. My letters were waylaid to the worthless Executive Relations Dept. where it is all smoke and mirrors. Nothing was done. I was paying monthly for zero. They promised to fix things again and again and did zilch!

When I stopped paying them, they sent me the usual demand junk. I did what they had done to me...ignored them. But, then, they upped the ante by putting two questionable collection agencies on my tail who demanded over $300: North Shore Agency and Bureau of Recovery.

Go ahead, Google "complaints Sprint" then do the same for North Shore Agency and Bureau of Recovery. You will find the sameness...questionable practices. No one of authority is paying attention and these people are taking advantage of the inattention.

I've heard that for every ONE written complaint you see, there are hundreds or thousands who will not write anything. So, what does that tell you? It suggests to me that they routinely lie and cheat hundreds of people daily.

I am not going to pay them. In court, I will introduce my letters detailing what didn't take place. I will also introduce the multiple complaints on various internet sites to show a pattern of unresponsiveness and lying.

This January, nearly a year after they failed to restore my internet service, I got a hot-spot through AT&T (previously Cingular) who has provided me with excellent cell phone service since 1992.

I am filing complaints against Sprint with the local district attorney, the state Attorney General, the U.S. Attorney General, the Kansas Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the New York Times, the Better Business Bureau in Kansas City (which I read has nearly 100,000 complaints against Sprint but refuses to reduce their rating to less than C because they [BBB] cannot bite the hand that feeds them), The Washington Post, the Kansas City Star, 20/20, 60 Minutes, Time, the Postal Inspectors, on and on and on.

Use your imagination; surely you can think of someone who might give them the scrutiny they so richly deserve...or you can support my complaints with regulators and the press that Sprint seems to be an outlaw organization. Sprint dishonesty and abuse needs to be stopped.

If you are not joining me in my crusade against these people, then the old saying goes for you: IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

When regulators see how unresponsive and abusive Sprint is, some of them, perhaps all of them, will descend on Sprint and punish them big time. If this is the only place YOU complain, it is like one extra drop of water over Niagara Falls.

Don't just sit there...do something! Sprint will regret it if enough people make loud noises.
