yea so I just switch from tmo to att. Reason was my area just does not have good coverage with T-Mobile. I have to be in the major city, "Cincinnati" to really take advantage of it, and I am on the out skirts.

So now I have ATT 300mb but I know I will miss totally unlimited data and while the coverage sucked "for me" I am thinking maybe I should have just kept that and got an ATT prepaid sim or even a ATT hotspot. Any thoughts? I am able to Switch-Back to TMO for 90 days and get the same plan. They even waived my early term fee because of my area.

I kind of just think I would rather have better data coverage that is limited than no so good coverage that is unlimited. ANY Thoughts? Or Suggestions? Thanks

Look. Right now I am very much drinking the T-Mo Kool-Aid, but if you can't get acceptable service in your area then what's the point? Really? I mean, if you use more than 300 megs of data, then you're just going to have to pay more rather it be with your phone plan, or the hot-spot. But that's up for you to decide because you know your situation better than anyone. A poll is unnecessary.

The only reason that I am with T-mobile is that they have free WiFi calling, so reception inside my house is not an issue. The thing is is that reception in my house seemed to be an issue with AT&T and Sprint also (from what I gleaned from visitors to my place). Outside the house is no problem, and though there are a few dead spots between towns as I head into more rural areas, when I travel towards the city, I don't have many problems at all. Moreover, I use my phone at the house probably 80-90 percent of the time compared to everywhere else, so the WiFi calling great, and very high quality compared to other apps. Neither I or the person on the other end can tell the difference, and the WiFi calling is probably actually better than the cell signal, all things being equal. Of course while I am at the house, I can use all the data I want to as well due to having my WiFi connection.

If the coverage is so horrible when and where you need to use it, then you really don't have a choice. Now if it's a case that is like mine, where you use most of your services at the house (where you have WiFi), or in areas where you can get reception (and it's just a matter of making sacrifices as to where/when you use your service, then perhaps you should return to T-mo. Another option is to get a phone/plan with AT&T that allows for free use on a WiFI connection as well.

Get the T-Mobile back. I had a similar problem with T-Mobile and they put up more repeater antennas and now my reception is as good as Verizon which is one of the best. I like the GSM system because I always have an option, with Verizon CDMA you're pretty much stuck with them.
