I am not a mobile phone person except for emergencies but have had
to change mine as my Philips Diga was one of those now not
supported. So I have got a Nokia 6280 on T-M U-Fix 15. It worked
initially (i.e I have made a few calls from it) but now when I dial
a number (either manually or from the address book) I just get a
message that says "Get more from directory enquiries: dial 118 500.
Now connecting you to 192". What is going on here? Have I screwed
up a setting, is it the phone or do I need to talk to T-M?
Camera, calendar, notes and all the other gizmos I chose it for are
great, but a phone that won't phone is a bit pointless!

Well the 6280 is quite a techno leap! It could be that you have
inadvertantly set up a divert.
Try looking into your manual or menu to restore factory settings. You
may have to reinput any numbers not stored on your SIM.
If that desn't sort it out have a word with Tmobile
