T-Mobile in most parts of Cornwall isn't too bad. Best parts for indoor
coverage include Camborne, Truro and St Ives. Elsewhere it's below average.
Orange overall is the best network in Cornwall without doubt, with O2 as the
2nd best, Vodafone as 3rd, 3 as 4th and T-Mob last.

Well I live in Newquay, which I have heard is good for T-Mobile, but will be
travelling towards Plymouth on weekdays

Coverage might improve on weekdays. Try a dummy run of the route.

Orange works everywhere in Cornwall, 02 works mostly, tmobile was crap when
I tried it, and I gave up with vodaphone years ago.

On holiday in Fowey recently I got full signal on Orange whilst my sister
got nothing at all on T-mobile. Whether that is representative of the
whole county, I have no idea.

You might be interested to know that T-Mobile have just launched an
on-line coverage checker which you can use to check their 2G and 3G
coverage at any place or postcode in the UK.
