The rumor about the HTC Desire coming to US Cellular is holding true as US Cellular has just confirmed the launch of the HTC Desire on its Facebook page. Not only is the HTC Desire coming to US Cellular, but other Android handsets are on its way as well to the carrier, but no mention of just exactly which ones.

It is beginning to look like that the HTC Desire will be US Cellular's first Android smartphone and may also be coming to AT&T. The HTC Desire runs on Android 2.1 and features the following: 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

Price of the HTC Desire for US Cellular has not been mentioned.
