Hello I bought a phone at virgin mobile one month ago its a galaxy 551 , and I lost it , i was wondering when i call them if they are going to send me the same phone or i will be able to choose another one and id like to know if it cost alot to choose another or if i am obliged to get the same one again.

If you have insurance, they will most likely send you the same model, or a comparable model if not available. I'm not sure what the process is if you want a different model, I don't think they would allow it. You would probably need to pay full price.
