noob here.... i have questions about my new brew 2.0 kyocera phone

I have a prepay (simplefreedom) service that doesn't support much for my soho kx1 phone:

It has brew 2.0 and I have bought the software and data cable:

Is there any way for me to get games and other apps onto this phone? If so, what types of file extentions will it play? .jar?
