Useing bitpim to upload wallpaper to kx1

I have benn useing bitpim to upload wallpaper and screen savers to my kx1. the only problem is after putting the files on my phone they are locked and I cant erase them and also when I try to upload a ringtone it shows up on the computer display but not on the phone. Anybody have the same problem or know what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!!
