Kyocera KX1 Soho?

I have a nokia tracfone i'm not sure what model but it has voicemail, caller id, text messaging, call waiting and stuff. A prepaid minute card costs $20 for 60 minutes. I was thinking of getting a Kyocera Kx1 Soho. Would that be a better deal? It has most of the same features as my nokia tracfone. But a $20 card has 80 minutes. I heard if I get a Kyocera it will be long distance for other people to call my phone?! Can someone please help me? What are the advantages and disadvantages to the Kyocera? Also is the reception good?
