hello, i have a Kyocera KX5B with virgin mobile service. recently i cant hear nothing out of my earpiece but i can hear sound when i have it on speakerphone. i was wondering if anybody knew a solution to this problem? Thanks
Has the phone been dropped, or come in contact with moisture recently? If not, I would call your service provider and see what policy they have in place for warranty issues.
BTW, welcome to CPF.
Thanks.ive had the phone for about 1 1/2 years now and it has been dropped quite a few times. And i read something else online that sed look and see if the little square next to the metal connectors on the battery is red and if it is then there is water damage and mine looks like it is a little red. so if it did get wet would all i have to do is buy a new battery or is my phone just useless now? I called my provider to and they said they cant do anything because my warranty expired and they dont do repairs.
ya it prolly is just better to buy a new phone. i was thinkin maybe if i can find a phone for parts or just like a mainboard for cheap and try that. Thanks for the responses
