Hi,
I just bought a Kyocera X-tc phone yesterday and noticed it likes to power itself off/on when browsing thru the phone. I didn't see anything on their website, but it was mentioned a few times on Virgin Mobiles site. Is there any fix'es for this or any word from Kyocera at all or should I just take the phone back and try another one(which sux as their phones are in those crappy plastic wrap things, and its al tore up )

Re: Kyocera(X-tc) power issues
So long as the tip from the charger's cord fits the slot in the phone, any brand should work---even generic. Enabling "Auto Keyguard" should prevent the phone from accidentally powering up in your pocket. So would a carrying case or belt holster (pouch.) I recently purchased charger that uses batteries for emergencies on the go---rechargeables, too. It's pretty good.

Re: Kyocera(X-tc) power issues
russ,
The phone may occasionally do that. All cell phones hiccup once in a while.
However, if your X-tc is doing this regularly (like every time you go into the menu), you might want to call customer care at 888-322-1122 and tell them that your phone is broken. Since the phone is less than a year old, it is covered by a warranty.
I hope this helps.
