Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Kyocera device and PC
- Swipe the “notification” bar down and make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
- On the computer, open the File Explorer
- On the PC, locate the audio files you want to use for ringtones / notifications
- Copy the desired files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notification” folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via the system tray
- You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Incoming settings” > “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Tap “Save”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification sound
