What phone should I get? RAZR, CHOCOLATE, KRZR, etc.....

Which one should I get? I know this is all about personal preference but I am having a really hard time chosing. The RAZR phones are on the bottom of my list of phones to get because so many people already have them. The KRZR looks very sleek and cool. The CHOCOLATE looks very sleek, but it just doesnt have the "coolness factor" the KRZR has. I really hate the 2 yr contracts so i'd like to avoid them.

Take the krzr with one year... it seems your leaning that way.

I would stay away from Motorola. The RAZR was a piece of crap with all kinds of problems. I see those come back to my store all the time. The KRZR probably won't be much better; it just hasn't been out long enough to get a good idea of what it will or won't do. Either way, the screen on the KRZR is pretty small. I tried using the camera on it, and half the screen is taken up by the camera menu/options.

I like the Chocolate, but I won't sell them in my area any more. The touch pad on it is heat sensitive which means that it won't respond in cold weather. If it's cold outside and your fingers are cold, you won't be able to use your phone. I read that it's anything under 4° when the phone freezes up. Don't get a Chocolate if you live in a colder climate.

Honestly, I would wait for a few weeks. In the next few weeks, Verizon is slated to release the G'Zone, the VX8600, the VX9900, and a White Chocolate. It's worth holding out until December (all of those phones should be out by then) to see if there's something coming out that you like more than what's currently available.

If you like the thin flip-phones, look at the LG vx8600.

RAZR is old, maybe if they did more than add a music feature, and change the case colors.

KRZR is a bit thiner, but is longer.....also, you can barely see the keypad, it is so reflective. Reminds me of a womans makeup mirror.....perhaps this is exactly what they were going after

Myself, I am going to get a Chocolate or the 8600....My wife is going 8600 (talked her out of the RAZR)

The RAZRs break very easily. So unless you plan never to drop it or never be at all rough with it then get it. I have seen more then 10 break right in the middle and split into 2.

I just got the LG VX8600 and i love it! get the leather case n charger on ebay (got mine for around $20 instead of paying $50 at the store) and the USB cord goes pretty cheap on there too! you don't need the essentials kit! I checked out the Bitpim program and like it! just use a program like mp3 cutter and make ur own ringtones. it does have speakerphone too even though the manual doesn't say it (it's the circle icon opposite the camera button on the right side).

go for the chocolate because the razr everyone has and the krazr doesn't lokk good.

I have the LG Chocolate and I love it. It took me about a day to get used to the touch sensitive buttons, and I personally think it looks better than both of the motorola phones. the only thing i don't like about it is there isn't a memory card slot. everything is pretty good

Seriously? Because Verizon's Chocolate (LG VX8500) has 2GB MicroSD capabiliity. If you have this phone, you will probably want to check it out again. The card slot is on the opposite side from the charging port. It has the "MicroSD" logo on it. If you don't have this port, you do not have the "Chocolate".

plz dont get a motorola phone from verizon now that all phones run on brew. The ui cannot be changed besides the wallpaper and color theme. I used to have the Razr V3M and i could not change the red bars on the top and bottom. If ur not worried how you can customize it then i guess it doesnt matter
