Unless you are talking about the Korean GSM version (KG800), there is no way to do it. Verizon's CDMA phones can not be unlocked for use on other networks. They just don't work like that.

If you're talking about unlocking the keypad, the unlock code is probably the last four digits of the phone number. If it isn't the last four digits of the phone number, dial *228 and select option 1 when prompted. Let the phone go through the elevator music until it says, "Your phone has been programmed successfully." Then the lock code will be reset to the last four digits of your phone number.

Take it to your local stolen phone shop andget it onlocked.. only if GSM.

The LG Chocolate is not GSM which pretty much renders that post completely useless. Thanks for your input though!

However, the Chocolate does come in the GSM flavor in Korea (LG KG800).
