i just downloaded bitpim and for some reason it does not detect my phone could there be any simple reason to get it to connect so i can loadmusic and ringtones on it | ||||||

I had this SAME problem! I ended up having to take it back to the store...

You did load the driver's up for the data cable before you put bitpim on your computer....right? If not, you can't run bitpim until the driver's for the data cable are on your computer.

There wasn't a CD that came with the USB Data cable? If not, your going to have to do a search on the net and try to find the drivers for your cable.
