Chocolate 2 Keypad's messing up.

Just bought a Chocolate 2, and the keypad's buttons are acting up. like when i'm typing the number 3 it will type 32, when i hit 6 it puts 76 when i push 7 it types 76.

It's almost impossible to text.

Went to the Verizon store and they won't do anything with it, what should I do? Is there anyway to fix it???

Has anybody else had this problem?? How much would the repair cost be..?

Sounds like ur phone has either DCL (damaged caused by liquid) or has IC problem. The IC I am referring to is the IC by the mylar that actually controls and regulates Voltage and current to make it function properly. But most likely ur phone has corrosion under the mylar so if u can take the phone apart and pull up the mylar and clean it with alcohol and a brush it should fix the problem. U might not have gotten the phone wet on purpose but sometimes moisture can enter the phone just from having it in ur pocket. Good luck.

This is a frustrating phone. Mine seems to be loose when in the open position. I go to one screen and push ok nothing happens, push again and the screen changes. This is nuts. I've had it too long to send it back to the ebay seller. So I'm going to try to sell it with a warning to the potential buyer.
