Can I transfer service from RAZR to LG Chocolate?

It's sorta complicated as to why and the conditions that let me do this, but what I want to do is switch my AT&T service connected to my RAZR (I think it's a V3) to this LG Chocolate.

The RAZR has a sim card, the Chocolate does not. I don't know why the Chocolate doesn't, I guess Verizon doesn't use them.

ANYWAY, I have a 2GB MicroSD card for music and can do other stuff. Is there a way to get this chocolate to run for AT&T in place of my RAZR?
Preserving phone numbers from my RAZR would be pretty sweet too...
