LG Chocolate® 3 Receiving IM's

I am on Verizon and have 5 cell phones on my plan. I prefer to text the phones using AOL's instant messaging. All I did was enter the cell phone number as a buddy on IM and was immediately able to send IM's to the phones....all phone but 1. The LG Chocolate® 3 returns a message of "This mobile user is not accepting IM to Mobile messages".

There is absolutely no difference in the Verizon setup between any of the 5 phones. I DO NOT want to be able to send back instant messages from any of the phones...just receive them. I have talked to Verizon and they are of no help.

Anyone here have any suggestions?
