Windows will not recognize VX-8550 Chocolate
Hello all,
Got a VX-8550 Chocolate. When I plug it in to my PC, Windows will not recognize it, says it is an unknown device. PC is running XP Pro.

I have installed the Verizon Music Essentials Kit, which installed LG drivers, and I also downloaded the drivers from LG's website, and it still won't recognize. Windows Media Player does not recognize the phone as a device for syncing, and I also installed BitPim, and it does not recognize the phone either.

What's the deal? Do I have a bad phone?
