chocolate touch will not turn on

Hey my Chocolate touch will not turn on at all, it just freezes at the verizon logo and no buttons work. The only way to turn it off from there is taking out the battery, and this happened randomly when I tried to turn off my phone and it froze so I had to turn it off via battery and after that it wouldn't turn on anymore. Any help is appreciated

try to upgrade you phone with the lastest firmware...whats your phone model??

i am having the same problem. !? how do we get the latest firmware when it wont turn on ? ? help is and will be highly appreciated, please help?!?!?!?!?!?!?
