LG Dare

The dare, i held it, operated it for a minute and ordered it, the one draw back i see if your a big text person, is the dare does not flip open nor does it have a key board, its all touch screen. Will see the complaints over the next month as the dare hits the streets and actually becomes operational performing the daily chores of the cell phone.

Ewww yuck, nothing worst then having a LG with no qwerty, gotta have this feature for fast typers such as myself. I own the green LG rumor and love it, just need my USB for files and etc but it's a nifty phone to have.

Only issue with this phone I am experiencing is when you slide the phone to the left, the button for "Messaging" starts to deepen after awhile if you text a lot. Meaning it will sink into the phone and not be so easy to push down anymore.

Getting back onto the topic here, touch pad is crap so try and stay away from them

It has qwerty... just all touchscreen.

The only problem I have had withthe QWERTY screen is that when I went to Vcast to get a ringtone (BEFORE I learned to bitpim) the screen rotate did not work I had to enter text via the abc, def... style booo hisss.

yes, I noticed the functionality is a bit different while on the web.

I just rip the songs and them edit them with cool-edit or similar to save the section I want to use as a ringtone..... then send it to my vzwpix address which sends it to the inbox on my phone... once there I can choose to save it as a ringtone..... but also go back in to your inbox and save it "also" as one of your sounds... that way you have it to send to others or if your phone goes down, you don't have to do all that work again to put in your next phone.
