LG Dare Synced to Outlook?

Just wondering if anyone has done this successfully? If so how? What program did you use?

If this helps, i entered my apple email address and password when i was prompt while following the steps to set up email on the Dare. I also have a Verizon (DSL) email address which i really don't use very often through outlook express. I didn't enter my Verizon email address and password since i really don't use it, but i imagine it would be the same process.

I exported my appointments from my Google calendar to Outlook using the iCal format. Then go to (in Outlook) view/active then hit CTRL-A to select all of the appts...file/send to/bluetooth/vx9700...

It worked for me except for some reason, All of the titles of the appointments were screwed up but everything written in the comments section was brought over.

I haven't been able to get my Dare to work. Is there a guide online?

I have been able to add POP3 accounts to the Dare with no problems. I have yet to find a way to get it to actually do a sync with outlook for my calanders or contacts.

I used to have a Motorla Krazer that i used Motorola Phone tools to sync with but there does not appeare any LG provided apps or 3rd party ones. Hmmmm, this maybe an opportunity for an industrious coder with spare time.

Using Bluetooth or Bitpim.. You can import/export your outlook calendar and contacts items between the Dare and outlook.

Its not a TRUE Sync, so deletions will not happen. Items changed on the one device will create another copy on the other, leaving the original there too.

Will addresses sync over to the Dare from Outlook, or just name, #s and emails? Considering buying it if they will!

the dare's phone book doesn't have an Address field, so that can't be sync'd.
