Unlimited VZ NAV but NO internet or DATA usage

Guys I'm sure this question has been answered somewhere but I can't find it. I have unlimited VZ Nav but i dont have any data or internet plan.. can you guys tell me if using NAV will affect my bill? For example, if i use the app, will i be charged everytime i use it since it transfers data in and out? or no?

It has already been stated in -> Unlimited Navigation for Verizon LG Phones, step by step

When you subscribe to VZNav, Verizon system exempts you from being billed for data usage when using VZNav.

If you use that "free hack", you are unsubscribing, so VZW's system doesn't know to exempt you anymore.

i use the free nav as well with no data plan-

i have not been charged for usage of the VZ Nav so far, and i dont think they charge you for using it even if you are not subscribed

they DID however charge me 9.99 initially when i downloaded and unsubscribed from the nav, however i just called them up and told them it was a mistake and they removed it with no question.

so how do i actually download vz nav if i dont have access to the internet or anything with the phone? is it possible for someone to actually duplicate the files for me? i got bitpim

according to other people it cant be duplicated because of the way the apps work

however, you just go to "get new apps" thing and download it off of that- its not part of the internet or data usage (i dont think)

but yea if you cant get it that way then you cant get it

I have unlimited also, I have never been charged for my vznav....but I also have unlimited plan with the modem plan..another 59 dollars a month...so since I pay a hundred and fifty a month....they better not ever charge me!

Correct. Due to BREW's locks/limits/Digital Signatures you can't purchase/download an app on one phone, and transfer it to anther.

Accessing, Browsing, and even downloading an application/game from Verizon's "Get-it-Now" catalog on the phone DOES cost data when on a Nationwide plan, unless you have a Premium plan or subscribe to the Vcast Vpack.

Alright I've spent two days trying to figure this out. What would happen if I was on a verizon select plan and did the VZnav hack? would i be charged per MB everytime I used it?

I wrote the "How To" on the vznav hack.
All you need to do is compare your brew back up before and after the nav was installed. Look at the mod folders and the mif folders and see what new files are in them. Those are the ones you need to put back after you cancel it.

PM me them when you find them and ill add them to the how to.

I am trying to drag and drop the 2 mif files for the Nav free, but the 2nd mif file is not there.

I have been charged $1.99 for the last 3 months, when I called they said it's because I access an application. I told them to block everything, they did, then my VZV and ME didn't work. i went online to my account and removed the block . Now it's working. It looks like I have to pay $1.99 monthly.
