Just got my LG Dare, hope not to be disappointed

Wife wanted a BlackBerry Storm, we don't use our phones at all for any internet connection......I wanted to take babysteps into a touch phone and into internet connectivity from a cell phone. LG Dare via Verizon offered that.

Also, new to the forum.....so HI!

The Dare is not the best phone, but it works!

I personally do not like it, but I know many people who do.

Yeah, like I said.........I didn't want to go full bore into a smart phone just yet. I did want a touch phone though. Other than that, all I really need is to make and take calls and some texting. I don't want to be fully connected to the world at all times just yet. Plus, I'm holding out on spending the real money when Verizon carries the iPhone, which should hopefully happen at the end of 2010!

It will be quite longer than that before Verizon carries the iPhone...but I'm almost certain it will happen.

Guess we'll just have to wait a bit longer. Besides, I need more time to earn more money to afford the plans associated ;-)
