any way to disable phone calls or texts temporarily?

hey guys, quick question.

i need to be able to record video for about an hour and a half, the thing is when i receive a text or voice message it will interrupt the video. is there anyway to disable getting phone calls and texts temporarily until i finish the video?

or is there another way around this?

Not an iPhone, I have the lg dare.

Put it on Airplane Mode
It will disable Texts and Calling.

Airplane mode will do the trick!
