Dropped in Water-Touch Screen Won't Work

Dropped in just water. Phone powers up, but I cannot use any "selections" at bottom..so basically I can't do anything. Any hope for this phone?

I am screwed-had insurance, but I used up all of my claims. This one was the only one that was my fault.

I'd say not, look on ebay for a new/used one.

There is one way, but it involves tearing the phone apart. If this is something you are interested in, let me know, I'll post the disassemble instructions and what to look for.
