My wife has the
Dare which prompt me to purchase one as well since I liked the features as well as the battery life. My Dare doesn't hold battery life very long and requires a longer time to turn on compared to the wife's Dare. Monday I charged my Dare in the late afternoon with the phone off and the next morning, one bar had already dropped. Today, the second bar has dropped and might I add, I didn't make any phone calls, nor use the phone. Today, I had two phone calls. Bottom line, I rarely use it. Then, as I stated, my Dare takes awhile to turn on, about 30 to 45 seconds while the wife's turns on in less than 5 seconds. She has more pictures, contacts, etc. on her phone so I can't imagine it's loading.
Anyone have any idea why the battery life is shorter and the start up is longer? Can it be firmware? Would an upgrade be advantageous?
Thank you for any help.
