Please help! Unflash LG Dare from Cricket back to Verizon

I bought my LG Dare from a friend, before buying it I was planning on going to get a plan with Cricket. My friend offered to Flash the Dare to Cricket for free, so ofcourse to avoid fee's that Cricket may have charged me I jumped on the offer. So today I went to Cricket to set up my plan and the guy there said that my house was just outside of their network. So I decided to get a plan on Verizon, I went to Verizon and they said that there was nothing that they could do unless I were to get the phone unflashed. So anything that can help, please, this phone is brand new, friend tried it for a day and didn't like it. I would hate to have to get rid of it all because of something like this.
