Help, damaged phone, need adivce

I dropped my cell phone in a mop bucket on Saturday when I went to get it out of my pocket. I removed the battery right away and let it dry. When I tried it on Monday and this morning it sometimes wouldn't do anything or it would show the Verizon logo and not load anything. The water damage indicators were both red on the battery and phone. I ordered a new phone through my Asurion phone insurance and they sent me a new phone. However when I tried my old phone tonight it turned on but you can still see the water inside.

Should I still send my phone back or call them and ask what I should do?

Since you have insurance, I would just swap it out for a new phone .... who knows just how damaged and problematic it will be if you continue trying to use it.
