turn off lock (lg9100 envy2)

I've only had this phone for a few days and it has this feature to auto lock the phone. I think it's so you don't accidently call someone I dunno. Anyway, in order for me to view txt msgs or make a call I always have to hit the "ok" button to allow me to use phone. Can I turn this off?

When the phone is closed, hit "OK" twice. (to unlock and again to get to the external menu) Then scroll to "Keyguard Setting." Hit "OK" and choose "Always Off" (or whatever option you prefer) and then "OK" to set.
