enV2 phone locking question

Hi all, I am new to the board and not too literate on cell phones. I have a problem with the enV2. The phone says it is locked but when it is in the case, on my belt, it dials people on my list. I have no idea until they call me back. I understand that by moving around I am pressing buttons on the phone, but shouldnt it stay locked?

Somtimes a magic pocket fairy hits the "ok" button to unlock the phone when you haven't asked it to...haha. Mine does that all the time.

You can set your phone to require a password to unlock, by going to menu>settings & tools>phone settings>security. You will be prompted to enter your "phone lock code." (should be the last four digits of your phone number.) You can change your "phone lock" to lock on "power up," or choose "lock phone now" before you put it in your pocket, which will defend against pocket fairy attacks.

Thanx for the reply. I have tried the lock phone thing, still does it sometimes. I will try again, maybe I messed up somewhere

Had same problem with mine, ended up calling a friend of mine at all times of the night just because he was first in my phone book, ended up getting holster for it

You should switch it to 2-Step Lock
