Update LG enV Touch (VX-11000) to latest firmware - V04

The following is how to update your LG enV Touch to the latest firmware without bringing the phone into Verizon. Some improvements in v04:

Touch screen and scrolling is more responsive
Light sensor sensitivity improved
Can see inner screen better in direct sunlight

WARNING: If you do not have experience with updating phone software, do not perform this task as you could void the warranty on your phone and render it useless.

Make sure to back up all sounds, wallpaper, contacts, etc that you have on the phone. (see this thread BitPim usage: Sync an LG Phone's Contacts/Calendar to Outlook using BitPim )
Download and install LGNPST: LGNPST v1.2 Store
Download the latest firmware: LGVX-11000_VX-11KV04
Extract the zip file
Copy the folder and contents of "LGVX-11000" to C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\model (or wherever you installed LGNPST)
Start > Run
Type regsvr32 "C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\model\LGVX-11000\VX-11K.dll"
(if you're running vista and you get an error, navigate to C:\Windows\System32 - find cmd.exe - right click "run as administrator" - copy in the above and hit enter)
