MY new LG cookie gets hang some time and its touch screen does not work properly. Does anyone else face this issues?

I think this phone has calibration settings and sounds like as far as the touch screen goes, u can calibrate the touch screen through the settings. How long does it hang up? All PDAs have some lag time because the applications it runs sometimes get behinds and start playing catch up. Hope this helps, let me know so we can figure this out. I'm too curious to let thing go unfixed!

i've had the Cookie KP500 for about a week now and i have to say im really impressed with it. (being truthful i am on my second because the first had a problem with the mic)

of course it lacks some features that the iPhone, and other high range model touch screen phones have like WiFi or GPS but for the price i think its worth missing off a couple of things. I personally am not interested in browsing the internet on my phone (i will use a computer if i need the internet) or playing with GPS on google maps (which is about all i've seen from the iPhone) so this phone was perfect for me. i was really supprised with the picture editing the phone has built in, being able to do the usual effects aswell and saturation, contrast, hue, white balance and loads more. with it being fully touch screen it is loads of fun to use, it not only looks the business but it feels it too. not forgetting it has all features needed to make phone calls receive texts bla bla so im happy.

i do have gripes with the phone.. firstly the camera is low quality with no flash, but i have found that the quality of the photo is actually better then it looks in the camera mode (before taking the photo). also i loaded a couple of videos onto the handset, the usual file types Avi, Wmv.... but it turns out they are unsupported on the phone (after wasting a couple of my lunch breaks looking for codecs or a standalone divx type player that i could install on the phone i've given up on trying to find a way around it. if anyone does know a way let me know ). my last gripe is how slow it is to react to changing from portrait to landscape especially when changing from the "text style number keyboard to the landscape qwerty keyboard.

but overall i hear about a lot of problems with this phone "its slow", "it crashes"... as long as you dont rush the poor fella there are no problems
im not saying its perfect but if you compare it to an iPhone or course it will come up short. at the end of the day if you dont like it get an iPhone (and pay four times the price)

i have been using Nokia, Sony, now i have LG KP500 Cookie
its great man, i mean in a very affordable prices we can have everything in it
great sound clarity, video, pic shot very great
and weight is very light, and besides of all i got 1GB card with it

i m impressed by this one, touch screen is also good

I got this phone and I really like it...but I have a problem and it's not with the phone.

It's the PC suite cd I got with it. Why did they have to make it a 7" CD? It just gets stuck in my Mac laptop so now all I can do is blue tooth files from the laptop to the phone (for some reason, it won't bluetooth from the phone to the laptop.). Anybody help?
Can I get this software online?

Ok, new problem. My delivery reports are coming back as different names than who I am actually sending to. EG, I'll send a message to "Jim" and the report could say "Delivered to Aine". Weird...

i got that phone and its very nice its like a iphone ^^ but very nice, nice functions, good camera (3MP)

It is really a great phone

its pretty cool but i dont like touchscreens at all
