lg voyager availability

ok so i ordered the phone sunday and they told me it wouldnt be here until the 15th. then i called again and said it would be here wednesday and they gave me a tracking numberr lol ny1 know y verizon did this?

Because the warehouse got the phones in stock quicker than they originally anticipated? Don't ask questions, just be happy you don't have to wait for another week!

not sure why they did that. . .but i've got a question about verizon's shipping as well (this may have more to do with fedex).

they shipped it from l.a. callifornia, then it ended up in memphis tennesse, then went down to denver.
i live in wyoming.
lol why did they ship it all the way across the country, then back down to denver, when they could've just sent it to denver in the first place?

just thought it was odd.

Fedex plane couldn't get a one way flight. hah

it all depends on the warehouse and the destination and or itsjust fedex making people wait a lil longer to get there packages

i ordered my about a week ago! i paid for overnight and got it no problems!! some people are getting theres in january for some reason!!

so it did get to you the next day then?

i ordered mine with the 2 day shipping (free shipping). . .but it took 4 days. lol stupid me, and ordering on a friday, heh.

i've heard from elsewhere on the net that verizon might be back ordered on the voyager. . . though i don't believe everything i read on the net.

anyhow, congrats on the awesome phone i can't seem to get enough of mine lol.

people are saying its on back order, but i called them right up and had it the next day, so i dont know why people are waiting for they voyagers??

$299 on the website now with limited availability.

They are starting to catch up with orders. People who ordered the phone around christmas had the worst luck. They also opened another shipping center in Texas to handle the over-load.

It's always been $299 using the instant $50 on-line rebate. Thats with a new two year contract. On top of that, you get the $50 dollar mail-in rebate..so final price will be $249...but with tax's and stuff...it's like $270.

It's not on back order, it's just not yet available at the store level. there are plenty at the warehouse, and when all the previously ordered phones have been delivered, the stores will start getting them again.

I hate to contradict you Boss, but there is no additional mail in rebate when you order phones online. the Voyager is $299.99 after rebate (whether instant or mail in) and you only get additional money off if you have the New Every 2 discount (up to $100.00 off). The best price comes with the full NE2 discount, $199.99 after mail in rebate (or instant if purchased online).

I do believe this is my first post here, but I was reading a bit on some of the post for the Voyager and I thought I would drop a word here.

Here is my situation: I ordered my LG-VX1000 on or around December 20th. I wasn't able to order on line due to my cards expiration date. (They said at customer service?) So I ordered it from a (611) Rep. With the same card and it worked. Go figure?

I didn't get a $50.00 instant rebate, but I did get a $50.00 mail in rebate in the box. Here are the discounts as of the order date: $100.00 off for new for 2 and a $50.00 mail in rebate. (Total savings of $150.00.)

After all this I got a letter from Verizon asking me to call this number (1-800-436-5751) to get $80.00 dollars added to my account. I called and told them that I had already ordered the new Voyager and was doing a new 2 yr contract. (Rep said) Great! We will be adding $80.00 off your monthly service.

I really don't know if they actually did this, but if so it would be great! If this works out it would help recoup money spent for the phone? ( A extra $80.00.) LMFAO... I just don't see Verizon giving you any advantages? However if this does work then for those out there that are up for the new for 2 may want to give it a shot too....?

Ohhh..I got my new Voyager on January 2nd after all the wait....lol

Hmmm....ok...well...I scanned my bill....maybe I got some money coming back to me then. Because there isn't any $199 anything/anywhere on this bill.



Please tell me what they did wrong...as I sure could use some more money back on this phone.
