Is their a way to put a lock code for people viewing pics? So when you click to see pics prior to viewing you would need to enter phone lock code?

no - just store the pics on the sd card and take it out when you don't want people seeing the pics.

    Re: Pics and lock code

    Greetings,

Probably the only way to secure your jpegs while they're in your phone (whether on a microSD card or the phone's built-in memory) is to lock the entire phone.

I've set my Voyager to automatically lock at power up (Settings & Tools > Phone Settings > Security > Phone Lock > On Power Up). In this mode, the quickest way to lock your phone is to hold down the "End" button to power off the phone.

In addition, it is also possible to lock the phone without powering it off with: Settings & Tools > Phone Settings > Security> Lock Phone Now.

Note: Each time you select the Security command in the Phone Settings menu, you'll be asked to enter your password.

    Best regards, WiredNot

How do you do it without going through all those menus? A one-click solution? I've read some posts elsewhere and those didn't do it.

I would like to push one button and have the phone lock and require my 4 digit password in order to access anything on the phone.

    Hi jayun,

Sure, there is a one-click way to lock your phone. This method only works if you've configured your Voyager to be locked on power up as described above. Simply press and hold the "End" button of your phone. This will turn it off and it will be locked. Press and hold the "End" button again to turn you Voyager back on and it will still be locked.

LG provided only one way to lock your phone without turning it off or using the menus: The touchscreen lock button on the left side of your phone. But this only locks the external display---it doesn't provide any security.

    Re: Pics and lock code

Thanks WiredNot. I was aware that I could do that but that is not something I am interested in. When the touch screen locks, I want the phone to lock (as a security pre-caution) and require my 4 digit code to unlock. There's clearly a way to do it by clicking through menus... So why not a one click option? I am very surprised/confused as to why LG wouldn't have such a feature. One of my old $10 pre-paid phones had a lock feature.

    Uggggggg.
