How to replace LG Voyager digitizer screen

I have had my LG Voyager for about a year now, and just a few weeks ago my doberman jumped on my lap and scratched my external screen. the lcd screen is not damaged, so I bought a replacement touch digitizer screen. However, I have not been able to find any instructions on how to remove the external screen safely, and replace it with the new one, and how to hook up the flex cable properly.
Does anyone know how to replace the external screen? Thanks!

Here are links to two people who took their Voyagers apart and repaired them themselves. They didn't have the exact same problem as you but you might try contacting them and seeing if they can offer any advice. The first thing I would do is post to their forum threads and see if you get a response.

Chelsea were you able to figure this out? The only thing I'm not sure about is putting on the ribbon cable back in place. Any help would be appreciated.
