Hi mixolydian45,
When you purchased your
LG Voyager last week, did you purchase a new one? If you did, then it will already have the latest firmware and you can disregard the previous post. LG and Verizon are very careful to insure that new phones always have the latest firmware.
The problem you are having usually indicates that there isn't enough available memory for your browser. It has a memory cache like the browser on a computer and as you visit websites it will store things in the cache so the next time you visit the same website it can load the webpages faster. But websites like YouTube require more memory and if the cache has too much in it, there won't be enough browser memory left.
The solution is to clear your browser memory. Here's how:
1 - Open your LG Voyager and launch the browser using the
qwerty keyboard.
2 - Press the right option button to open the browser's menu.
3 - Scroll down the menu and select "0 Manage Memory".
4 - Select "1 Clear All" and confirm by selecting "Yes".
Note: This will only clear the memory reserved for your browser. It will not clear ringtones, songs, photos or videos. It only affects the browser.
Now you should be able to use the Entertainment link and visit YouTube. Just remember to clear your browser's memory again each time before you visit websites like YouTube.
