Can't use Voyager


i bought a Bell LG Voyager
off of a friend who had thought she lost it so got a new one then ended up finding her old one so she sold it to me but it still has her old number n recieves any txt messages and calls that are being sent to her phone but will not allow me to use Web, make calls or send txt back how do i erase the phone number so i can put it onto a new plan????? is that even possible ?

you need to hook up the phone to your plan. You can't just use two phones on one plan.

Hi kelseyduffy,

As tavenger5 wrote, you'll need to switch the phone to your own plan and you can't do this by yourself. You'll need to contact Verizon Wireless (800-922-0204) on a phone that works and tell them what you want to do and they will walk you through the steps. Make sure you have the LG Voyager with you when you call them because they will need for you to provide some information from it.

Going off of Avenger and WiredNot, also have your friend call Bell and make sure that the phone isn't setup as lost//stolen. If it is, you won't be able to activate it. She can have the phone changed from lost/stolen status with Bell so you can activate it.
