keyboard lock code

I bought a LG VX9900 and VX10000 among some cellphones in an auction, they both work but they have a four digit lock code.
Is there a way to deactivate the lock code

not really. The best way would be to go to your cellphone provider and have them run a ESN check on the phones to first see if they reported stolen or lost. They can't be used if they are reported as such.

If they are clean, then you can have them do a ESN clear on both and have the default lock codes set to whatever number you activate on the phone(s).

If you can find a copy of LGNPST and the correct files for those phone you may be able to do it yourself.
