vx10000 ringtones not working

Hello everyone. I recently tried to add ringtones to my vx10000 after seeing the hack on this forum. I successfully added them to the phone using bitpim 1.6 but when i set them as my ringtone it doesnt work. it gives me message saying that is set to ringtone but when i get a call it's a no go....instead i get a voice say that i am receiving a call from whoever. any way i can fix this. before i did it the factory ringtone was working just fine. please shed some light on the subject.
