LG Voyager (Telus) - HELP

I just got an LG Voyager from telus in canada, where I live
It's a great phone, but unfortunately it didn't come with the disk that apparently comes with the verizon wireless voyagers.
So, i'm left with no drivers... and they are IMPOSSIBLE to find. i've been looking for about 2 days.
Anyways, even without drivers, i was able to connect my phone to the computer. it recognized it at first, but later that day i tried to connect it again, and it doesn't recognize it any more. even when i go on my phone and go to 'usb mass storage' to get it started, it says " Connected failed. check cable connection "

PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I GO CRAZY
