I'm having problems with my LG Voyager, the battery life is ridiculous. I thought it was the battery having problems so I bought a brand new one and literally after 24 hrs charge I used it for texting for about 10-15 minutes and the battery ran out.

I have tested charging both the NEW and OLD battery for 24 hours, after about 5 minutes the phone says Charge Complete which is stupid because I know it is not, so I leave it there charging for 24 hours. When I unplug it and literally make 1 phone call for a minute the battery goes straight down to about 1-2 bars. I leave it idle for a bit and it will go back to only 4 bars. Today, I had it fully charged and I took it out with me for just an hour, texted someone for about 3 minutes and the battery went caput. Said low battery and no bars and was flashing. I'm pretty sure the phone isn't charging the battery correctly, time to get it replaced?

yeah you need a new replacement bud. the battery should last you wayy longer than that. did you try to fully discharge the battery for a couple of cycles?

    Re: Battery Problems

I actually have the same issue and I got a replacement battery for it as well, however that didn't solve the issue. I then got a universal battery charger and while it has issues of its own, it says the battery is charged. When I put the battery in the phone, it begins dying almost immediately while talking and is completely dead after about 40 mins. I'm going to get a new charge port and put that in and see if it helps and I'll let you know, but if anyone else knows for certain how to fix this please let me know.

    Re: Battery Problems

The last 2 months I have been having the same issues. My phone will completely die and I will charge it and after a little over 2 minutes it will say completely charged. I will then take it to class and I will send 2 texts and make a 7 minute phone call and my phone will just die. SOMETIMES it gives me a warning and will say battery low, but that's on it's good days. I am so fed up with this phone, if it wasn't my life line to the world I would of smashed it off the wall 2 months ago. The only decent thing is when it "dies" the first time, I will leave it off for a half hour, because I obviously can't just pull my charger out which I am forced to carry with me constantly now out and start charging it up, I will turn it back on and it will say I have 2 lines of battery left, and once again, on its good days, be ok until I send more than 4 texts out during class. I am fed up with this phone, Verizon is lucky I bought this phone 2 years ago and am a month away from my upgrade or they would bug them every day until they gave me a new one for free. If I am going to pay 200 some dollars for a phone it should last me until I choose to get a new phone. Stupid LG Voyager.
